Indy related comics

Some Indy related comics on sale right now:

The "classic" Indiana Jones MAD issue (MAD US edition). MAD covered each Indy film and the hat still fits ;-)
The German Indiana Jones MAD issue (MAD Germany). They lack graphic artists, they lack story and most of all they lack humor but at least they tried:

Disney Germany digged out their own Indy clone (Indiana Goof) and delivered a number of comics for the kiddies. First we have the weekly Mickey Mouse magazine. Issue 21 comes with an adventure toy, a pack of Merlin stickers, and some KotCS coverage inside:
Mickey Mouse magazine issue 22 follows with another adventure toy and more KotCS coverage inside:
Next is a special issue of Indiana Goof comics;

The last piece is an Indiana Goof "Lustiges Taschenbuch". I can't find it right now, so no picture for the moment.

time for a Burger King

I finally found time to hit a Burger King (on my way to watch [REC], a new Spanish horror film). Got some luck, they still had all eight toys available. I got them a all at once, better save than sorry.

Dark Horse promo poster

Another lucky catch: The Dark Horse promo poster. It's not available regularly (I think) but my girlfriend got it after asking for Indy goods in a comic shop. It's 60 cm x 84 cm. The front features a cool Indy art, the backside shows four upcoming/available Indy comics:
  • Indiana Jones Adventures 1
  • Indiana Jones Omnibus Volume 1
  • Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
  • Indiana Jones and the Tomb of Gods

German movie cups

Günther sent me some nice pics: Black plastic cups with KotCS motives. The cups have been available at the film premiere. Congratulations on getting those (and your charms)!
I had no luck on seeing anything like those at the premiere in Vienna. But I have been in an English Cinema rather than in one of the countless multiplex centers that show German dubbed films. I will check one of the centers soon just to be sure I do not miss fancy stuff like the cups.
